Alice Charpigny has a diverse work experience, starting from 2006 until present. Alice has worked as a Sustainability Project Manager at dss+ since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Fundraising and Partnerships Manager at ZeroWaste Switzerland from 2020. Within the same organization, Alice also worked as an Accompanying Companies to Reduce Waste from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they worked as a B Leader Advisor (B Corp certification) from 2021 onwards.
Before these roles, Alice had their own independent sustainability consulting business, where they supported companies in their sustainable development approach, provided advice on waste reduction, and organized sustainable events for municipalities. Alice held this role from 2020 until 2022.
In 2019, Alice worked as a Sustainable Development Project Manager at Ville de Carouge, where they designed and set up the "Semaine du Goût" project and supported the implementation of a sustainable development policy.
From 2015, Alice worked at UP International SA - Novalac as a Product Quality Manager, and at SODIAAL as a Quality, Health, and Safety Manager from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they were a Dairy Supply Chain Manager at SODIAAL from 2008 to 2013.
Earlier in their career, Alice worked as a Retail Product Assistant Manager at Groupe Soparind Bongrain in 2007, and as an Assistant Manager for Milk Collection and Relationships with Farmers at Etoile du Vercors in 2006.
Alice Charpigny obtained their Engineer in agriculture and food production degree from ISARA Lyon from 2002 to 2007. In 2021, they received a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sustainability Studies from the University of Geneva. Additionally, they obtained the B Leader Advisor certification from B Lab (Switzerland) in January 2021.
