Steven Horemans

Steven Horemans has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steven is currently working as the Sr. Human Resources Director for Duracell Inc. in Belgium, a role that they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Human Resources Director for Batteries at Duracell from September 2020 to February 2021.

Before joining Duracell, Horemans had a long tenure at Mars, where they held several positions. From November 2018 to August 2020, they served as the Head of Operations. Prior to that, they worked as the P&O Director for Food Supply in Europe, Russia, and South Africa, from May 2015 to October 2018. Steven also held the position of People & Organization Manager for the Belgian Food unit of Mars from July 2009 to April 2015, where they were responsible for managing over 150 associates and contractors.

Before their time at Mars, Horemans worked at Avery Dennison as the Human Resources Manager for the Performance Tapes Division from July 2006 to June 2009. Steven also served as a Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Officer at Avery Dennison. Additionally, they have worked at Heilig-Hartziekenhuis Lier as a Human Resources Officer and at Cipal as a Legal Advisor.

Steven Horemans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2000. Steven later pursued further education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management & Work Legislation from Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant (Syntra AB) during 2002-2003. In 2004-2005, Steven attended Vlerick Business School where they completed an Executive Master Class in Human Resources Management.
