Who We Are:

Dusty Robotics is a Series B-stage construction robotics company with a successful product on the market, an 8-figure annual run rate, healthy margins, and line of sight to profitability. The 65+ person team mostly located in the Bay Area supports a fleet of robots that is deployed on construction sites across North America to increase quality and predictability of building projects. Dusty has raised over $69.5M from top-tier venture capital firms including Scale Venture Partners, Baseline Ventures, Canaan, NextGen Venture Partners, and Root Ventures. Our customers include some of the largest names in the construction industry, including general contractors DPR, JE Dunn, and Skanska.

As we enter a dynamic growth phase, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Associate to join our team and provide the analytics and modeling required to optimize our growth.  This is an exciting opportunity to be the first internal FP&A hire, driving financial planning, and improving our strategic decision-making. We are looking for someone passionate about financial analysis, construction, and technology, eager to contribute to the foundation of our organization's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business analytics and financial planning efforts, turning complex data into actionable insights
  • Support company-wide decision-making through detailed modeling, forecasting, and analysis
  • Collaborate across teams to understand key drivers of the business and identify opportunities for growth
  • Help shape the company’s financial strategy and pave the way for scalable success

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience at investment banking, investing, or startup strategic finance
  • 1+ year of operating experience is a plus, ideally in a startup or similarly dynamic environment
  • Analytical mindset with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
  • A collaborative approach, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • No MBA required; we value practical experience and a growth-oriented mindset

Where You'll Work:

Dusty’s offices are located in Mountain View, CA. You will be primarily working from our office in this role full time to facilitate rapid coordination with executive leadership and business teams.
