Ryan Glover

Ryan G. has extensive work experience in a variety of roles related to information security, coaching, and leadership. Ryan is currently working as a Security Advisor at Alluvial since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at DV Trading LLC starting in August 2022. Ryan also worked as a Mentor at Cyber Mentor DoJo from July 2022.

In terms of their coaching experience, Ryan served as a Coach at Ryan Glover Coaching since January 2016. Additionally, they have been a member of InfraGard since April 2019, where they have actively contributed as an InfraGard Member.

Ryan has held several positions at DRW, starting as an Infrastructure Services Manager in August 2007 and eventually becoming the Chief Information Security Officer from February 2019 to January 2021. Ryan also served as the Head of Infrastructure and Security from April 2017 to February 2019. Before that, they were on garden leave from January 2021 to May 2021.

Ryan G. has also been involved in advisory roles, including serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at ObserveIT from September 2018 to January 2021. Ryan was also a Co-Founder at Co-Low, LLC from June 2017 to January 2020.

Furthermore, Ryan gained valuable experience as the Team Lead - Server Engineering at TransUnion from January 2007 to August 2007.

Ryan G. began their education at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1995, where they completed coursework but did not obtain a degree. In 2013, they enrolled at DePaul University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Information Technology in 2016.

Following their undergraduate studies, Ryan pursued further education at the SANS Technology Institute, where they will complete a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering between 2018 and 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications. In November 2018, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Ryan continued to expand their expertise with the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) in December 2018. In July 2019, they acquired the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification, followed by the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) certification in November 2019. In June 2020, they obtained the GIAC Critical Controls Certification (GCCC) and in October 2020, the GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) certification. Most recently, in February 2021, Ryan became certified as an EC-Council’s Certified Chief Information Security Officer.

Overall, Ryan G. has a strong educational background in information technology and information security, supplemented by an impressive array of certifications.
