Suzanne LaGasa

Creative Director at Dwell

Suzanne LaGasa has a wealth of experience in the design industry. Suzanne began their career in 2005 as a Design Assistant for the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. In 2006, they were a Design Fellow for Chronicle Books and a Designer for Dwell. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Designer for Chronicle Books and a Web Designer for L.L.Bean. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Art Director for The VIA Agency and a Senior Art Director for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they were an Art Director for Scholastic and Creative Director for Callisto Media from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are the Creative Director for Dwell, leading the creative team and developing and implementing design strategies for the flagship, Dwell Magazine, Dwell.com, and Dwell's overall brand.

Suzanne LaGasa attended the University of Washington from 1994 to 1998, where they received a BA in International Studies and French Language & Literature. Suzanne then attended the California College of the Arts from 2002 to 2006, studying Graphic Design.
