James Leeson

James Leeson has extensive work experience in the finance industry. James began their career at Citi as a Trading and Research Analyst and later worked as an Equity Derivatives Product Control. In 2009, they joined Deutsche Bank as a P&L and Risk Analyst and subsequently became the Deputy Head and later the Head of CB&S Revenue Analysis and Reporting. James took a sabbatical break in 2016 to travel with their family. Afterward, they returned to Deutsche Bank as the Head of Global Markets Revenue Analysis and Reporting. In 2017, they briefly worked at Deutsche Bank as a Business Manager before joining DWS Group in 2018. At DWS Group, they initially served as the Head of Financial Control Oversight and is currently the Head of Finance Sustainability.

James Leeson completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the University of Reading from the year 2000 to 2003. Following this, they pursued further education at the Association of Chartered Management Accountants, where they obtained a CIMA degree in Accounting and Business/Management from 2004 to 2007.
