Jillian Schwanke

Jillian Schwanke has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing communications and graphic design. Jillian started their career as a Digital Media Intern at Valparaiso University, where they gained skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Jillian then worked as a Page Design Intern and later as a Page Designer at Lee Enterprises. Following that, they joined Bowman Displays Digital Imaging as a Graphic Designer, where they were responsible for creating innovative point of purchase (P.O.P) designs. In 2017, they joined Dwyer Instruments as a Graphic Designer and later progressed to Marketing Communications Specialist and Marketing Communications Lead positions.

Jillian Schwanke pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media and Graphic Design at Valparaiso University from 2010 to 2014. Jillian then continued their education at Arizona State University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Graphic Information Technology from 2023 to 2025. Prior to their college education, they attended Merrillville High School from 2006 to 2010.
