Aviva Jacobs PhD, PMP

Aviva Jacobs PhD, PMP has worked for a number of companies in the field of product development and quality assurance. Aviva began their career in 2001 as a Bioinformatics Scientist at the National Institutes of Health. In 2004, they moved to Clinical Micro Sensors, A Motorola Company, where they held the role of Senior Scientist. In 2005, they joined Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics as a Sr. Program Manager, Project Lead/Group Leader/Associate Director of Product Development, and Staff Scientist. In 2010, they took on the role of Director of Quality/Product Quality & Technical Support at GenMark Diagnostics. Finally, in 2011, they began working at DxTerity Diagnostics as Vice President of Product Development, and later as Director of Product Development.

Aviva Jacobs has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the University of Michigan. In 2010, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
