Katja Gärtner

Katja G. is a skilled Senior UX/UI Designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across multiple organizations. Currently at the Queensland Government, Katja G. has successfully led the development of the new Queensland Government Design System, managing design requirements for 17 government departments and implementing accessibility improvements in existing systems. Prior to this role, Katja G. worked at Queensland Health, managing a team to create user-centric online learning experiences and enhancing the online learning system. Additional experience includes designing digital products at Canstar and Breed Brand Management, along with graphic design work at News Advantage. Katja G. holds a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Industries from the Queensland University of Technology.
