Robert Hoffman

Robert Hoffman is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Dynamic Map Platform North America since August 2019, where leadership in the development of Rivian's ADM product was pivotal. Previously, Robert held the title of Chief Engineer at Dura Automotive Systems LLC from March 2016 to August 2019, leading innovative projects in semi-autonomous vehicle technologies. At Continental, from May 2014 to March 2016, Robert contributed to the General Motors Enhanced Long Range Radar project for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Prior roles at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles focused on software release engineering for critical vehicle systems, while earlier experiences included positions as a supplemental instructor, vehicle test engineer intern, student researcher, and cost reduction engineer. Robert holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oakland University.
