Cem Sengel

Principal Scientist, Experimental Science at Dyno Therapeutics

Cem is a molecular biologist with a background in developmental biology. He has completed his B.A. in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Bilkent Urniversity and earned his Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard. In his Prh.D. work in Connie Cepko's lab, he worked on elucidating the mechanisms cells use when they differentiate during development of the neural retina and developed methods for discovering DNA-protein interactions on regulatory sequences. He is an ex-pro gamer in Starcraft, and enjoys playing basketball and Ping-Pong in his spare time.
