Jonathan Oelschlager

Jonathan Oelschlager, GISP, currently serves as the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator at DYOPATH since July 2022. Professional experience encompasses roles as a GIS Infrastructure Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for a brief period in June 2022, and as GIS Coordinator for the City of Rockford, Illinois from June 2019 to May 2022. Prior positions include GIS Analyst at Kendall County from February 2009 to May 2019 and internships at the Village of Plainfield and the Village of Oswego. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Geography, currently in progress at Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology, and an Associate's in Science with a focus on Physics and Mathematics. Expertise includes project management, programming in Python for GIS automation, development of web viewers, and maintenance of departmental GIS systems and data.
