Lisa Kästlen

Lisa JK is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader with extensive experience in cultural preservation and social enterprise. As the Creator and CEO of the Regenerative Fashion Collaborative Exchange (ReFaCE) since April 2022, Lisa addresses the environmental impacts of the global fashion industry on Africa. Additionally, Lisa founded Swahili Coast Culture in January 2014, promoting the conservation and sustainable advancement of Swahili culture, and Baossence in January 2018, focusing on baobab-based wellness products while supporting local communities. Lisa serves as a Board Member for the Kenya Coast Tourist Association and held the position of Experiential Officer with Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani until August 2023. Lisa also founded Mombasa Maridadi, enhancing the beautification of Mombasa County. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
