Mihai Truta

Mihai Truta has extensive experience in data protection, information security, and compliance, currently serving as the Director of Data Protection/Information Security/Compliance Department at E.ON since October 2009. In this role, Mihai ensures compliance with national and international laws across E.ON Romania group companies. Prior to this position, Mihai held various roles at E.ON Gaz Distributie S.A and E.ON Gaz Romania, focusing on internal control systems, service level agreements, and compliance programs. Mihai's career began at Distrigaz Nord in telecommunications. Mihai holds an engineering degree from Universitatea „Petru Maior” din Târgu-Mureș and certifications from TUV Austria Romania in information security management and data protection.
