Maryam Hosseini-Zare, Ph.D.

Maryam Hosseini-Zare, Ph.D. has several years of experience in the field of chemistry. Maryam worked as a Project Chemist at Eagle Analytical starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lonza as a Quality Control Analyst from 2021 to 2023.

Maryam also has experience in research and development, as well as mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Maryam worked as a Graduate Research Assistant/Laboratory Manager at Texas Southern University from 2017 to 2022. In this role, they designed and executed synthesis of new anti-cancer drugs and tested their effects using in-vitro assays. Maryam also purified synthesized compounds using various techniques.

Before their time at Texas Southern University, Maryam worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad from 2012 to 2016, and at Iran University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2012.

Maryam Hosseini-Zare, Ph.D. pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Texas Southern University, which they completed from 2017 to 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Iran University of Science and Technology, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from Kharazmi University, which they completed from 2006 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Maryam Hosseini-Zare has also obtained several certifications. In January 2015, they completed a certification in "Computational Drug Design and Finding Potential Target Methods of Design and Applications" from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. In September 2012, they obtained a certification from the "13th Iranian Pharmaceutical Science Congress" at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.

Recently, in April 2023, they completed the "Google Project Management: Specialization" certification from Coursera. Additionally, in February 2023, they completed the "Project Management Skills for Leaders" certification from LinkedIn.
