Primary Role

As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the transport and delivery of freight within the United States. From loading to delivery, your efforts should be focused on making deliveries on time while meeting the safe driving standards of Eagle Eye Produce. We also offer driving positions exclusive to the western 11 states.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class-A License required, with a clean driving record
  • 2 years Class-A CDL driving experience

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time pickup and delivery on all loads assigned

  • Maintain and properly utilize an ELD (Electronic logging device)

  • Inspect assigned truck regularly to identify and repair minor faults, and/or report any major failures to our shop

  • Ensure all necessary documentation with respect to freight is filled out correctly and submitted to appropriate party

  • Ensure safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations

  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned truck and trailer and carry out regular upkeep like inflating the tires, refueling, tightening nuts and bolts, etc.

  • Report any delay that may affect the timely delivery of freight to the dispatcher

  • Communicate with dispatch using wireless devices or on-board computer systems

  • Observe and comply with all traffic regulations – federal, state and local

  • Ensure temperatures on reefer trailers maintain appropriate temperature for assigned load
