Andrés Duque

Andrés Duque is a software engineer who currently works at EarlySight. Prior to joining EarlySight, Andrés worked as a medical software engineer at Intuitive Therapeutics SA from May 2017 to September 2020. Andrés has a wide range of experience in software development, including developing and designing relationships between objects using UML, developing static and shared libraries with CMake, providing expertise in C++ to develop corresponding objects and design patterns given the UML diagram, and developing part of the Graphical User Interface using Qt5 framework. Andrés is also experienced in taking DICOM data to build 2D and 3D images to show volumes to the software user, designing, implementing, and integrating a database in PostgreSQL using libpqxx, developing medical software following company D&D processes, refactoring existing code into more integrable code following the inversion of control pattern(IOC), writing well-designed and testable code, executing full software development life cycle, producing specifications and determining operational feasibility, helping with the risk analysis, verification, validation, and testing phases following ISO standards, upgrading current data modules to integrate new objects, and supervising technical support activities to customers.
