Rachel Spector

Rachel Spector is currently involved with Earth Guardians as part of the Youth Council, aiming to mobilize young people in the fight for environmental, climate, and social justice. Prior to this role, Rachel has worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Tech, focusing on the mental health impacts of fracked gas pipelines, and as a Summer Intern at the Dead Sea Revival Project, conducting research on multimedia projects about the Dead Sea ecological crisis. Additionally, Rachel has experience as a Summer Intern at American Rivers, where Rachel researched water usage within the Flint River watershed to create programs promoting water conservation. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation from Virginia Tech.
