Gavriella Keyles

Gavriella Keyles is a Senior Research & Policy Analyst at EARTHJUSTICE. Prior to their current role, Gavriella worked as a Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Future 500 and as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara.

Gavriella’s experience in stakeholder engagement has spanned across multiple industries, from Fortune 500 companies to private mid-sized businesses. In their role at Future 500, Gavriella provided counsel to help companies understand trends in environmental advocacy and corporate sustainability, identify key stakeholders, and connect with stakeholders to explore concerns and solutions together. Gavriella also helped plan and facilitate multi-stakeholder convenings and presented and created content to train partners on effective stakeholder engagement across issues.

As a Graduate Student Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, Gavriella worked on a project exploring how climate change's effects on fire weather and precipitation impacts the risk of debris flow/mudslides in California. This involved processing and analyzing large ensemble climate data. Gavriella also conducted a literature review for a project exploring professional burnout among graduate students as part of their research assistant duties.

Gavriella’s skills in stakeholder engagement and their experience with environmental issues make their an asset to EARTHJUSTICE. In their current role as Senior Research & Policy Analyst, Gavriella is able to use their skills and experience to further the organization

Gavriella Keyles has a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Management from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at University of California, Santa Barbara. Gavriella also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), magna cum laude, in Middle East & North African Studies (MENA Studies), Theatre from Northwestern University. Additionally, they have certification from IDEO U in Storytelling for Influence.
