East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), is the local public electricity supplier in Alameda County and in the City of Tracy. EBCE is providing clean, green energy at low rates to our 635,000 customers. EBCE reinvests earnings back into the community to create local green energy jobs, local programs, and clean power projects.

EBCE member cities include Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Stockton, Tracy, and Union City. The unincorporated areas of Alameda County (including Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo, and Sunol) are also served by EBCE.

This team develops and implements programs that promote electric vehicle adoption, coordinate with local governments to improve charging station accessibility, and foster community awareness around the benefits of electrification for reducing carbon emissions and enhancing air quality. Through strategic partnerships and educational initiatives, they aim to create a sustainable transportation ecosystem in the East Bay region.
