Paul A.

Paul A. has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Paul started their career in 2002 as an Assistant Language Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). In 2004, they worked as a Talent & Logistics Manager for Seven Seas Consulting and simultaneously as a Training and Development Consultant for Microsoft KK through Seven Seas, Ltd.

Moving forward, Paul A. joined McKinsey & Company in 2007 as a Professional Development Associate, and then transitioned to Oliver Wyman as a Human Resources Analyst. Over the years, they took on increasing responsibilities at Oliver Wyman, progressing to the role of Senior Human Resources Analyst and eventually becoming the Global Head of Human Resources Strategy & Analytics.

In 2019, Paul A. became a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Human Resources Director, Development & Implementation at East West Center, starting in February 2021.

Paul A. received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2000. Paul then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Behavior, Systems Thinking & Analytics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, completing it in 2019. In 2016, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Public Health - Generalist from the University of South Florida. Paul A. also has experience in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are working towards a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Social Marketing at the University of South Florida, expected to be completed in 2024. In terms of additional certifications, Paul A. has achieved the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Change Management Specialist (CMS), and People Manager Qualification (PMQ) credentials in 2023. Paul is also certified by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) as a Certified in Public Health (CPH). Furthermore, Paul A. has completed multiple certifications related to emergency management and communication from FEMA. Lastly, they possess a Permaculture Design Certificate from Atitlan Organics in Tzununa, Guatemala, and has taken the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam administered by FINRA.
