AE Designer / CAD Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AE Designer / CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other team members.

Job Description:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects
• Modify and revise existing drawings as required
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company policies
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs
• Maintain an organized database of drawings and related documents
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements as needed
• Stay updated with the latest CAD software developments and industry trends

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s degree or certification in CAD technology, drafting, engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
• Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering is a plus
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., construction, manufacturing, aerospace)
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
