Beverly Sauer

Beverly Sauer is a senior chemical engineer and director of life cycle studies at Franklin Associates (a division of ERG). During her 25 years in the LCA field, she has managed and conducted LCA studies for U.S. and international clients on a wide range of products and materials, including fuels, commodity chemicals, plastics (both petroleum-based and bio-based), forestry products, building and construction materials and products, and many types of single-use and reusable packaging products.

Bev earned her B.S. in chemical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. She has served on the advisory committee for the U.S. LCI Database and the advisory council of the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment, and recently authored chapters in two LCA textbooks.
