Baoyi Huang

Baoyi Huang started their career at Deloitte Singapore in 2015 as an Audit & Assurance Associate. They worked there until 2019, advancing to the roles of Experienced Analyst, Audit & Assurance Senior, and finally, Audit & Assurance Assistant Manager.

In 2019, Baoyi joined Eastspring Investments as a Senior Executive in Private & Alternative Assets. They worked in this role until March 2022. During their time at Eastspring Investments, Baoyi gained experience as an Assistant Manager in Alternatives Operations. Their responsibilities included fund controlling, cash management, payment processing, and regulatory reporting, among others. They also assisted in trade and order entry in the Aladdin system.

Overall, Baoyi Huang has a strong background in audit and assurance, as well as experience in fund operations within the private equity and private debt space.

Baoyi Huang pursued a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2011 to 2015. In 2013, Baoyi Huang participated in a one-year exchange program at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, specifically in the College of International Management. For secondary education, Baoyi Huang attended Raffles Institution from 2009 to 2010, completing the GCE A Levels. Additionally, Baoyi Huang obtained several certifications, including Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in 2018, Operational Risk from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in 2023, and Applied Responsible Investment from PRI Academy in 2023. Furthermore, Baoyi Huang achieved proficiency in Japanese by obtaining the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 and the Business Japanese Proficiency Test J2 in 2014.
