Ahmed Safwat

Ahmed Safwat has been working in the IT industry since 2013. Ahmed began their career at IPMagiX as a Service Delivery Manager and later held the roles of Senior System Engineer, System Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer. In 2021, they joined Easygenerator as a DevOps Engineer. During their time at IPMagiX, they were responsible for architecting and migrating the company's software solutions to Azure, utilizing Azure's PaaS. Ahmed also created and maintained automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Azure DevOps. Additionally, they automated the provisioning of production, testing, and staging environments with IaC (ARM template, Terraform). Ahmed worked closely with the development and quality teams in setting and maintaining Azure DevOps environment and planned and successfully executed the migration of the company's internal workload to Azure/Office365.

Ahmed Safwat obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Zagazig University between 2005 and 2009. Ahmed then obtained various certifications from Microsoft and Cisco, including Deploying Enterprise Voice with Skype for Business 2015 (May 2019), Core Solutions of Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 (March 2019), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (March 2019), MCSA: Windows Server 2012 - Certified 2016 (November 2013), Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012 (November 2013), Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation (February 2020), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (April 2021), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (April 2021), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (February 2021), and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) (October 2012).
