Eric van der Staaij 🅿️

Eric van der Staaij has over 10 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Eric is currently the Director of Service Operations at EasyPark Group, where they oversee the delivery of parking services throughout Mainland Europe. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Service Operations at the same company. In their previous positions at EasyPark Group, Eric combined ITIL/IT Service Management and DevOps practices with Scaled Agile Framework.

Before joining EasyPark Group, Eric worked as a Senior Business Analyst at EasyPark formerly Parkmobile and Infoprofs. In these roles, they performed tasks such as business process management, requirements management, and solution design. Eric also worked on contracting assignments at Infoprofs, where they performed requirements management and solution design for various projects.

Additionally, Eric has experience in product management and solution design. Eric worked as a Product Manager at Agilliance BV, researching, designing, and developing a SaaS solution for freelance professionals. Eric also worked as a Solution Designer at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they were part of the Generic Tariffing Change team and worked on business analysis and solution design for the Amdocs Rate & Tariff system.

Eric's work experience also includes roles as a Senior Business Analyst at EasyPark formerly Parkmobile, the European Patent Office, and as a Freelance Graphic Designer. Eric has experience in gathering requirements, solution design, and guiding junior business analysts.

Furthermore, Eric has entrepreneurial experience as a business owner of Flora.Solutions, where they focused on customer discovery and testing ideas in the floriculture industry. Prior to that, they worked as a project manager, business analyst, and consultant at Chess iX (now Ximedes).

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in business analysis, solution design, and project management across various industries.

Eric van der Staaij 🅿️ has a comprehensive education history that spans several years. They began their education at the Grafische School in Haarlem from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a degree in Multimedia design from the LTS. After that, from 1991 to 1995, Eric attended the Crabeth College in Gouda and earned a degree in Information Technology from the MTS.

In 1995, Eric furthered their education at the De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Information Technology from the HBO program. This educational pursuit lasted for a single year, concluding in 1995.

Years later, from 2016 to 2018, Eric attended NCOI Opleidingen, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the HBO program. This marked a shift in their academic focus from Information Technology to the field of Business Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Eric has also obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they earned the ITIL 4 foundation certification from PeopleCert. Earlier, in July 2015, Eric became a Professional Scrum Master I by completing the certification program offered by Scrum.org. Finally, in December 2018, they achieved the Certified SAFe 4 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
