Michael Chalmandrier-Perna received their Bachelor's degree in International Business with a minor in Japanese from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. In addition, they attended Kyushu University for a year from 2011 to 2012 to focus on the topic of "Japan in Today's World." Alongside their formal education, Michael also obtained a certification in Gamification from Coursera in October 2012.
