Director Of Engineering at Eaton - Lighting

Bill Getzinger has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Bill started their career at Sulzer Euroflamm as an Engineering Co-op from January 2003 to December 2004. Then, they worked at Nifco America as a Design Engineer from January 2005 to February 2006, where they specialized in automotive clips and fasteners design. After that, they gained experience at Honda R&D as a Guest Engineer from January 2005 to July 2012.

From February 2006 to July 2012, they were the Chief Engineer at Stanley Electric U.S. Co., Inc., where they were responsible for automotive lighting design, including CAD design, prototyping, manufacturing, project management, and research.

In 2012, they joined Eaton - Lighting and held various roles, starting as a New Product Development Design Engineer from August 2012 to July 2015. Bill then became a Program Manager from July 2015 to July 2017 and later was promoted to be the Director of Engineering from July 2017 to the present.

Additionally, Bill Getzinger has also served as the President of the Rotary Club of Golden since July 2023, where they lead club meetings, sets goals, encourages communication, reviews expenditures, collaborates with district officials, and motivates club members.

Bill Getzinger received their HS Diploma from Salem Senior Highschool in 2000. Bill then went on to attend the University of Dayton from 2000 to 2004, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2017, they enrolled at Penn State University and completed a Master's degree in Project Management in 2020.
