Janette Goering

Janette Goering has a diverse range of work experience. Janette began their career in 2012 as a Research Intern at CUBRC, where they focused on creating and editing GUIs for military simulations. Janette then worked at FortuNet from 2013 to 2018 as a QA and Software Engineer, primarily coding bug fixes and new features for a .NET C# software suite. Janette'sresponsibilities at FortuNet also included software testing, bug documentation, client training and support, and graphic design.

In 2018, Janette joined NextStep Networking as an IT Consultant, where they worked as a software engineering contractor. During this time, they supported the sunset of a legacy application and assisted with the rollout of new internal tools.

Janette then moved on to Cox Automotive Inc. in 2019 as a Software Engineer, focusing on backend services in Java for large-scale inventory applications. Janette led their team in using New Relic to gain insights into data and present them to stakeholders. Janette also played a role in migrating legacy services to AWS cloud computing and developing new cloud-based applications.

From 2020 to 2023, Janette worked at McKesson as a Software Engineer, specializing in full stack services in Java and GWT. Janette'sprojects at McKesson included overhauling a legacy UI into GWT, expanding it to meet client needs, and accommodating new messaging specifications for a governmental contract project. Additionally, they worked on decommissioning legacy servers and services and transferring them to newer technologies.

Most recently, Janette joined ebbo in 2023 as a Software Engineer II, although specific details about the role are not provided.

Janette Goering attended Shawnee State University from 2008 to 2013, where they completed both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. Janette'sfield of study included Digital Simulation and Gaming Engineering Technologies, as well as Gaming and Simulation Development Arts. In November 2019, they obtained a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
