Maria Levchenko

Maria Levchenko currently holds the position of Senior Outreach and Engagement Officer at Europe PMC, where Maria leads the development and implementation of the Community Engagement Strategy. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Cellular Biochemistry, focusing on mitochondrial degradation and respiratory chain biogenesis. Maria's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where Maria conducted research on mitochondrial degradation signals.
