Serkan Tok

Serkan TOK has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cyber security. Serkan began their career in 2008 as an Army Captain-IT Officer at TSK. In 2018, they joined Turkish Land Forces CIS School as a Network Administrator and Cisco Networking Academy Manager. Serkan also took on the role of IT Security Officer and EC-Council Academia Founder Manager during their time there.

In 2020, Serkan started working as a freelance IT and Cyber Security Instructor & Consultant, providing a range of services including red team, blue team, and purple team exercises, as well as teaching various cybersecurity certifications and conducting penetration tests. Serkan also worked as a certified EC-Council Instructor at EC-Council and as a Cisco Accredited Instructor at Cisco Networking Academy.

In 2021, Serkan worked as a part-time lecturer at TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi. Serkan recently joined LearnQuest in 2022 as an Instructor and Subject Matter Expert. Additionally, in 2014, they had a brief experience in policy and plans with the European Union.

Serkan TOK's education history is as follows:

Serkan first attended Buyuksehir Huseyin Yildiz Anatolian High School from 1997 to 2001 and then proceeded to Kuleli Military High School from 2001 to 2004.

Serkan enrolled at Turkish National Defense University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from 2004 to 2008.

Later, they pursued further education at Turkish National Defense University and completed the IT Officer Computer Science Academic Program from 2015 to 2016.

In 2018, Serkan TOK joined TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi and completed a Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Cybersecurity in 2019.

Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Information Security Engineering at Gazi University, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024.
