Dumindu Madithiyagasthenna has had a varied work experience, beginning with a role as a Crew Member at McDonald's in 2015. Dumindu then worked as a Tutor for Triumph Tutoring AU in 2017, followed by a Junior Waiter position at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in 2018. In 2018, they also worked as a Software Engineer at Swinburne University of Technology, a DevOps Engineer at Piechowski Energy Pty Ltd, and a Freelance Solutions Architect for DevOps. Most recently, they have been working as a Software Engineer for ECAL.com since 2019.

Dumindu Madithiyagasthenna completed a Bachelor of Computer Science in Software Development from Swinburne University of Technology between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended Northcote High School from 2015 to 2016.
