Daniel Swallow

Daniel Swallow is currently a Partnerships Manager for Echion Technologies and an EV Supply Chain Manager for the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Prior to this, they were a Senior Consultant for E4tech from 2020 to 2022, a Business Development Manager Europe - Electrified Power for Cummins Inc. from 2018 to 2020, and Commercial Manager, Sales Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Development Manager, Principal Scientist and Chemist/Senior Chemist for Johnson Matthey Battery Systems from 1997 to 2018. As Development Manager, Daniel was responsible for managing projects with defined timings, conceiving plans, allocating resource, and managing a group of scientists. As Principal Scientist, they managed a small group of engineers to demonstrate key functionalities and benefits of Johnson Matthey's Diesel technologies, resulting in the successful introduction to the market of the world's first single brick combined oxidation catalyst and Diesel particulate filter.

Daniel Swallow received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham in 1997, after completing a BSc Honours in Chemistry from the same university in 1993.
