Sichong Peng

Sichong Peng has work experience in bioinformatics, primarily in the field of genomic analysis and variant discovery. They worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine from 2017 to 2022, where they headed bioinformatics analyses and developed data mining and analysis scripts. They also worked as a Bioinformatics Intern at Guardant Health in 2021 and as a Fellowship Intern at the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory, UC Davis in 2019. In 2022, they joined PetDx as a Bioinformatics Scientist I until April 2023, after which they will be joining Eclipsebio as a Bioinformatics Scientist.

Sichong Peng received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2015. In 2017, they obtained a Master's Degree in Forensic Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis. Sichong continued their education at UC Davis and received a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Genetics and Genomics in 2021.
