Stephanie Bruns

Stephanie Bruns has had a diverse career in bioinformatics, beginning with a Bioinformatics Undergraduate Research Assistant role at UC Santa Cruz in 2006. In 2007, they took a Crystallography Research Intern role at Roche Pharmaceuticals and a Biochemistry Research Assistant role at UC Santa Cruz. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Bioinformatics and Systems Biology PhD Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of California at San Diego. From 2014 to 2020, they held roles at Tecan, including Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, Bioinformatics Scientist, and Data Analysis Scientist (NuGEN Technologies). Her most recent role is Associate Director of Bioinformatics and Principal Scientist Bioinformatics at Eclipsebio.

Stephanie Bruns completed their Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008. Stephanie then went on to pursue their PhD in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at UC San Diego, which they completed in 2014.
