Franck Thivet's work experience includes holding various positions in finance at Federal Express from 1991 to 1997, including roles as an accountant and a financial controller. Franck then worked at Sony Europe from 1997 to 2007, where they served as a financial controller, a business development manager, and a strategic marketing general manager. During this time, they developed Sony's in-car infotainment systems in Europe and managed large accounts. From 2007 to 2011, Thivet worked at Sony Electronics as an area sales and marketing general manager, where they developed sales strategies and coordinated advertising and marketing activities for Walkman and Personal Audio product lines. Franck then joined LG Electronics in 2011 as the director of global accounts telcos, responsible for managing global accounts and revitalizing the brand in the mobile arena. In 2017, Thivet was promoted to senior director of sales and marketing, where they grew the market share by three-fold in less than 18 months. Franck joined ecoATM Gazelle in 2020 as the country head.

From 1996 to 1998, they attended INTEC - CNAM, where they pursued a degree in Chartered professional accounting. During this period, they obtained a DECF qualification.

In 2002, they enrolled in IMD (International Institute for Management Development) and pursued an eMBA degree in General Management. Franck completed this degree in 2004.

In the same year, from 2002 to 2003, they also attended IMD for an additional eMBA degree, this time specializing in Management.
