Maryam Ramin, Ph.D.

Maryam Ramin, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in data analytics and research. Starting in 2011, Maryam worked as a Faculty Lecturer at Centennial College until 2012. In 2013, they became a Lecturer at Seneca College, where they were responsible for designing and updating courses related to statistics, data analysis, and data management. During this time, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Remedial Action Plan & Protection Program.

In 2007, Maryam joined the Ecological Modeling Laboratory at the University of Toronto as a Research Scientist and Ph.D. Candidate, a role they held until 2013. Maryam'sresearch focused on ecological modeling.

In 2015, Maryam joined AEML Associates as a Data Scientist, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they utilized their expertise in data analysis and research.

Maryam Ramin, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Tehran in 2001. Maryam then went on to pursue their Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the same university, completing their studies in 2003. Following their master's degree, they attended the University of Toronto and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematical Modeling and Management in 2012.
