Gergely Sved

Gergely Sved is the SVP and GM of Global Healthcare at Ecolab. Gergely has been with the company since September 2018 and in their current role, they are responsible for setting the strategic direction for operations, including supply chain, engineering transfers, sourcing, and services.

Prior to joining Ecolab, Gergely was the Interim COO at Echosens from September 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for setting the strategic direction for operations for a private equity portfolio company.

Before their role at Echosens, Gergely was the CEO of Europe Services at GE Healthcare from March 2005 to September 2018. In this role, they were responsible for sales and aftermarket services of GE Healthcare's parts business to Powergen and Oil & Gas industries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Prior to their role at GE Healthcare, Gergely was the General Manager of Parts EMEA at GE Power from January 2000 to December 2005. In this role, they were responsible for sales and aftermarket services of GE Energy's parts business to Powergen and Oil & Gas industries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Before joining GE Power, Gergely worked at GE as an Associate / Manager in Corporate Audit from January 1996 to December 2000. In this role, they were responsible for financial and process audits for mergers and acquisitions.

Gergely Sved completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies at the Univerisy of Humberside. Gergely then went on to complete a (B.B.A.) in Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. Finally, they completed a program in Leading Global Businesses at Harvard Business School Executive Education.

Gergely Sved reports to Christophe Beck, President & CEO. They work with Deric Bryant - Executive Vice President and President, Upstream Energy, Nick Alfano - EVP & GM Global Food & Beverage, and Elizabeth Simermeyer - Executive Vice President and President, Healthcare and Life Sciences.
