Paul Stey

Paul Stey serves as the Assistant CIO for Research Software Engineering & Data Science at Brown University since April 2016, where additional roles include Lecturer in Data Science & Machine Learning and Director of Scientific Computing & Data Science. Paul also co-founded Ecolumix in May 2020. Previous experience includes working as a Mathematical Statistician at the US Environmental Protection Agency from March 2014 to April 2016 and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame from 2008 to 2014. Educational qualifications comprise a Ph.D. and M.A. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, as well as dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from The Ohio State University.
