Ton Wilthagen is a distinguished academic and expert in labor market policy, currently serving as Stadshoogleraar Tilburg at Tilburg University and Gemeente Tilburg since September 2022. Wilthagen holds multiple significant roles, including Trekker for Route Veerkrachtige en zinvolle samenlevingen at the Nationale Wetenschapsagenda and (co)Leader of the IMPACT Program at Tilburg University. With a strong commitment to inclusive practices, Wilthagen is a founding member of the nationwide coalition "Technologie en Inclusie" and actively participates in initiatives aimed at reducing youth unemployment in the Midden-Brabant region.
