Elad Ben-Ami

Elad Ben-Ami has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Elad currently serves as the VP R&D at Ecoplant, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Roby.ai in 2018 and held the position of Co-Founder & CTO until May 2022.

Elad also has extensive experience at Amdocs, where they held various positions over the years. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Digital Software Engineering Line Manager, overseeing a team of over 150 developers, architects, and software development managers across multiple locations. During this time, they played a crucial role in implementing technologies such as ReactJS, Redux, Micro-services, and cloud. Elad also focused on innovation, establishing an innovation plan and introducing Docker and Tomcat as alternatives to WebLogic. Elad led the implementation of DevOps practices and designed training and learning plans for the digital unit.

Before their role as Line Manager, Elad worked as an Account Development Manager at Amdocs, primarily leading transformation projects for At&t Latin America in Mexico from 2015 to 2017. Elad was responsible for scoping, designing, and managing the development aspects of these projects, overseeing around 150 developers worldwide.

Prior to that, Elad served as a Customer Interaction Manager and Deployment Manager at Amdocs from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they managed the overall release deployment for U.S. Cellular in Chicago, ensuring delivery on commitment in terms of scope, time, and quality.

Elad's journey at Amdocs began in 2005, where they held several roles. As a CRM Senior Development Group Leader from 2007 to 2008, they contributed to requirement analysis, led design sessions, and played a key role in project architecture solutions and system integration.

Elad also worked as a CRM Development Technical Group Leader from 2006 to 2007, focusing on development and technical leadership. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a CRM Business Analyst and Implementation member, responsible for CRM implementation and configuration requirements.

Before their time at Amdocs, Elad worked at Accenture as a Clarify Expert in 2001.

Elad Ben-Ami has a diverse education history. Elad began their academic journey at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2001 to 2004. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Bar-Ilan University in 2008 for a Master of Science degree in CS - Algorithms and Complexity, which was still ongoing until 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Elad has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed a course on Convolutional Neural Networks provided by Coursera. The following year, in 2018, they acquired certifications in Improving Deep Neural Networks, Regularization and Optimization, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects, all from Coursera. Elad also accomplished a course titled Neural Networks and Deep Learning in the same year, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
