Ben Hardinge

Ben Hardinge has a diverse work experience in finance roles spanning different companies. Ben is currently the Head of Transactional Finance at Ecotricity since September 2022. Before that, they worked at IVC Evidensia, where they held various positions, including Transactions Continuous Improvement Manager, Takings Manager, and Takings Supervisor for Mainland Europe from August 2017 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were with Mitie, where they worked as a BSC Cashier Manager, Senior Finance Administrator, and Finance Assistant from July 2016 to November 2017. Ben also worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Anixter from February 2012 to June 2013 and as a Lending Advisor at NatWest from October 2011 to February 2012.

Ben Hardinge attended Staffordshire University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sports Journalism. In 2014, they enrolled at BPP University and studied Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) but did not obtain a degree. Prior to that, they attended Dyson Perrins CE High School from 2000 to 2007. In 2017, Ben pursued further education at the Institute of Credit Management, earning a Diploma in Credit Management. In 2019, they enrolled at Kaplan Professional for AAT studies. Ben also obtained several additional certifications, including House Of Lords 2023 and AP Forum 2023 from the Accounts Payable Association, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from WA Global Consulting, APM Associate from the Association for Project Management, and a Certificate of Accounting from AAT in 2015.
