John Beeson

John Beeson is a seasoned professional with expertise in building science, sustainability, and historic preservation. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at Foresight Management, John provides guidance on building envelope optimization and LEED certification. In addition, John holds the position of Green Mystic in Residence at both Ecoworks Studio and previously at Catalyst Partners, focusing on sustainability consulting and project certification for LEED, SITES, and WELL. As the Chief Mystic in Residence at betterEnvironment, LLC, John leads workshops and develops sustainability strategies across various projects. John’s past roles include chairing the Historic District Commission for the City of Ann Arbor and contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives for the Ann Arbor Public Schools. With advanced degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture from the University of Michigan and a background in physics, John also has experience as an adjunct professor and in roles related to green building certification.
