Lindsay Walters Clifton

Lindsay Walters Clifton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs and communications. Currently serving as Managing Director at Edelman since April 2019, Lindsay has also held the titles of Senior Vice President and Vice President in U.S. Public Affairs within the same organization. Additionally, Lindsay functions as Managing Director at Edelman Global Advisory since December 2021. Prior roles include serving as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary at the Executive Office of the President from January 2017 to April 2019, National Spokesperson at the Republican National Committee, and Deputy Press Secretary for the State of Illinois. Lindsay's career also includes roles as Press Secretary for Citizens for Rauner and a Consultant at The Glover Park Group. A graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations, Lindsay has a solid foundation in strategic communication and marketing.
