Zaid Qureshi

Zaid Qureshi is a dedicated professional with experience in research, healthcare, and education. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at Towson University under Dr. Devadas, Zaid manages laboratory operations and chemical inventory as the Assistant Lab Manager of the Devadas Lab Group. Zaid also contributes as a Senior Care Assistant at Edenwald Retirement Community, providing personalized care to residents with dementia and Parkinson's disease. Additional roles include mentoring underserved students in STEM at the Maryland Higher Education Commission and supporting minority participation in STEM through the LSAMP program. Zaid has held a teaching assistant position at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and served as a responder for the Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps. Zaid is pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Biomedical Applications and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
