Jeffrey Chan

Jeffrey Chan is a Senior Techno Commercial Leader and PMO/Technical Lead at EDF Renewables (South Africa) since January 2022, overseeing technical aspects of major PV projects and procurement processes. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Mechanical Engineer for ACWA Power, contributing to business development in Southern Africa, and earlier positions as Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer at SPX Corporation, where responsibilities included pressure vessel and piping designs for Eskom coal refurbishment projects. Prior to that, Jeffrey served as Package Engineer at Murray and Roberts on the Kusile Power Station Project and gained initial engineering experience during practical training at Hyundai Automotive South Africa. Jeffrey holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and an M. Eng in Nuclear Engineering from North-West University.
