Danny Nichols

Danny Nichols has a diverse work experience in the field of SCADA engineering and research. Danny is currently working as a Lead SCADA Engineer at EDF Renewables North America. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Siemens Gamesa, including SCADA Engineer, SCADA Technician, and SCADA Engineering Intern. Danny also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida and as a Laboratory Technician at Lasera LLC. Danny briefly served as a Business Administrator at Lasera LLC. Before entering the engineering industry, Danny gained experience as a Pool-Side Server and Activities "Captain" at Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort.

Danny Nichols obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida between 2013 and 2020. Danny then pursued a Master of Science in Systems Engineering at Florida State University from 2022 to 2024. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Business/Managerial Economics at the University of Central Florida from 2013 to 2020.
