Corey Waxman

Corey Waxman has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Corey is currently employed at Edgecortix as a Research Engineer since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Xenoma Inc. from April 2021 to November 2021. Corey has also gained experience at Fixstars Corporation as a Software Development Engineer in 2020 and as a Software Development Intern in 2019.

Before shifting their focus to software development, Corey worked as an Electronics Engineer at IDF from June 2013 to 2016 and as a Verification Engineer at Cigol Digital Systems Ltd. in early 2013. Corey also worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from September 2009 to 2011, where they focused on reconfigurable computing and energy efficiency.

Corey's earlier experiences include working as a Systems Integration/Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin from September 2007 to September 2009, and as a Student Contractor at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2007, where they conducted research on software security and implemented new instructions. Overall, Corey Waxman has a strong background in engineering and software development, with expertise in areas such as FPGA hardware testing, software verification, and research in reconfigurable computing.

Corey Waxman began their education in 2002 at Binghamton University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2011. In 2019, Waxman joined the Tokyo Institute of Technology, initially as a Research Student in Information and Communications Engineering. From 2019 to 2022, they continued their studies at the institute and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Information and Communications Engineering.
