Alexandre Freitag

Alexandre Freitag has a long history of experience in software engineering and testing. Alexandre began their career in 2005 as a Software Developer at DBServer, where they designed and developed web solutions in ASP.NET and C#, as well as Windows Forms solutions in C#. Alexandre also worked as a Software Test Analyst at the same company. In 2010, they moved to HP as a Software Test Engineer, where they were responsible for leading the qualification team, assigning tasks, and participating in internal and external meetings with QA Architects. In 2014, they founded A Hora Do Filme, where they created the site from the sketch and today reaches about 20,000 people a month. In 2016, they returned to DBServer as a Senior Test Automation Engineer, where they designed and developed a test framework to test web services based on SOAP, WSDL, and REST using C#. In 2020, they began working at White Prompt as a Senior Software Engineer in Test and at YieldStreet as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, where they developed test scripts using Cypress and Typescript for the web platform. Currently, Alexandre is a Senior Test Engineer at EdgeIQ, where they are responsible for DeviceOps software for the lifecycle management of any connected device across its value chain.

Alexandre Freitag obtained their Bachelor of Computer Science from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul between 2001 and 2008. Alexandre also obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2015.
