The Role

The role of the Data Product Manager sits within the Product team at EDITED.  The Product team is responsible for product management, product strategy, product design and product implementation.  The Product team regularly interacts with Clients, prospects and  all functions of the EDITED business (development, marketing, sales, client success, finance, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product management of EDITED’s Data & Ingestion offerings
  • Delivering high data quality and transparency
  • You will partner with the Development and Data Science teams at EDITED to deliver world-class data products, while serving in a Product Owner role
  • You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to sell, market, price and communicate the value proposition of data products to our customers
  • You will partner with Finance to project associated revenue streams and cost saving opportunities
  • You’ll work closely with other Product Managers to expand the breadth of our data and deliver high quality data for other EDITED offerings and applications
  • Required to work closely with our clients to understand their data needs, use cases, and challenges
  • Consistently author product requirement documentation and prioritise project work
  • Responsible for testing releases prior to production pushes

Requirements

Essential:

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in SaaS
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience in monetizing data assets
  • Experience in scaling big data assets
  • Experience in improving data quality
  • Comfort and command in interactions with Executives and key decision makers
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Retail or Retail Tech
